Organizational Structure

Valley Unitarian Universalist Congregation follows a policy governance model: the Board of Trustees (elected by the congregation) establishes policy. 

The Board of Trustees is responsible for the following committees:
  1. Special Funds
  2. Search Committee
  3. Facilities
  4. Finance
  5. By-Laws
  6. Long Range Planning
  7. Mission Assurance
  8. CR/SE
The operation of VUU is divided into nine ministries:
  1. Pastoral Care
  2. Music
  3. Education
  4. Worship
  5. Denominational Connections
  6. Social Action
  7. Membership
  8. Fellowship
  9. Communications
  10. Stewardship
  11. Personnel
Each of these is composed of teams that carry out specific functions within that ministry.
