Welcome to Camp VUU!
It’s been a whirlwind of activity since we came back from the holidays (which was delayed for me by a quick bout with a cold.) Camp VUU was a great success with almost 90 people attending in person and close to 60 attending online.
This next week may be rainy so we are organizing some alternate dry locations for breakouts and also encourage those of you who would like to wander in the rain to bring a jacket or umbrella!
Ken St John will take folks into the garden, Noell Hyman will lead chair yoga for folks from the main room (online and in person), and Barbara Face will lead a breakout using zen centering practices and creating prayer flags. I will lead a discussion on centering practices in either the memorial garden or the board room or a covered outdoor space. We are making some adjustments for better sound for online and in person participants and group singing. We hope you’ll join us again. Kids are back in the classrooms, but we’ll all be together on the Education wing of campus.
In gratitude, Reverend Sarah
