Our garden at VUU is flourishing! Our fall planting has resulted in a healthy harvest of leafy greens and carrots. And while some have enjoyed the beets, so have our family of gophers who remain even though we have politely asked them to find a new home!
As we approach the warmer months, we could really benefit from the expertise of a Master Gardener, someone who would be willing to serve as a consultant to help develop a garden plan. No need to get your hands dirty! You provide the direction; we will do the work! And for those of you who would like to do the work, please join us every Tuesday morning at 8am for light garden maintenance. It’s a great diversion from…well, you know! For more information, please contact Kat Karpinen or Denise McLeod.
