CAPITAL PROJECTS UPDATE: Thank you for your generosity!

As of Monday morning, a new roof is being installed on to the education and office buildings on the west side of campus.  This is the first of many uses for the capital campaign moneys generously committed by VUU members and friends. 

In addition, we have signed a contract with our architect who will begin right away to start to plan for the design of the sanctuary upgrades.  You’ll have a chance to have input again as we work to repair and replace the air conditioning, upgrade the kitchen and bathroom facilities, and find ways to better integrate our faith formation programs and families with Sunday morning sanctuary and fellowship experience.
 
Many of us slowed or stopped payments to the capital campaign during the pandemic, and we’ve extended the campaign now to 2023.  If you are able to restart and/or speed up your contributions, we plan to do extensive work next summer and knowing what funds will be in the bank for that phase by March is going to be important.
