December Holidays at VUU
Winter Solstice Wonder: Sunday, December 21 during our normal service time (10:30 a.m.) we will celebrate the pagan holiday of Winter Solstice with an All Community Worship service. Seasonal crafts and a ritual of lights as well as seasonal music will help us celebrate together. Led by Rev. Sarah, Lisa Bonine and Music Director Meg Palermo.
12/24/2025 Christmas Eve 3:00 Service: “Choose Hope, Choose a Costume, Choose Christmas!!” All ages welcome to a “No-Rehearsal” Christmas pageant. We’ll tell the story of the birth of Jesus by creating a tableau of characters (anyone can play any character!) with the story told through narration and song. An accessible and fun way for all to enjoy. All children attending this service will go home with “lovey” chosen from Santa’s bag. Attendees can take photos in our photo booth as a memento of the day. Light refreshments served. Dress in your pajamas or favorite Christmas wear.
12/24/2025 Christmas Eve 7:00 Service: A more traditional and reflective service with lessons and carols and candlelight. Rev. Sarah and Joel Sannes lead with special Christmas ensemble music performances. Attendees can take photos in our photo booth as a memento of the day. Light refreshments served before the service.
